My 2024 empties challenge is 500 empties by 31st Dec 2024! its a lot I know lol but I have broken this down into tiers:
Target- 500 empties ( approx 41.6 products a month)
Tier 1- 400 ( approx 33.3 products a month)
Tier 2- 366 ( approx 1 empty a day for the year)
Tier 3- 213 ( this was my final empties I got last year)

Beauty

Cleaners/Toners

• Eve Lom Cleansing Oil Capsules– love these oil capsules. they are perfect for travelling and its amazing at removing tough makeup too!
• Nivea Salicylic Acid Wash- full review here
• Paula’s Choice 2% BHA- this is a great BHA product. there are more budget friendly options too
• Murad Multi Acid Peel- full review here
• Revolution Multi Mushroom Jelly Toner- do not waste your time & money on this. Its not hydrating no matter how many times you layer it!
• Boots Botanics Facial Mist- nothing special
• Samples- Farmacy whipped greens cleanser, Skinfix oil cleanser, Omorovicza mud cleanser- this blew my mind! such a beautiful cleanser

Serums/Moisturizers/Face masks

• Skinfix Lipid Peptide moisturiser *- full review here
• Inkey List Collagen Peptide serum- full review here
• Estee Lauder ANR- probably my 6th bottle! This is great as an all rounder anti aging serum. I’m currently testing out k beauty dupes!
• Medik8 Advanced night eye cream- lovely texture just not sure if it actually did anything
• Tatcha Water cream- such a beautiful lightweight moisturiser
• Mediheal Watermide sheet mask- a lovely hydrating sheet mask
• Cozrx pimple patch- these are the only patches i use and i really like them.
• Biossance peptide eye cream *- i really liked the texture of this eye cream and this mini sample actually lasted me a while
• sample sachets- Round lab birch juice moisturiser- i would happily buy the full size of this. it was lovely and light, elemis eye serum and Kiehl’s creamy eye treatment- I really like this eye cream. I do want to buy the full size but I have seen reviews that they have changed the formula and its not as creamy as before. This sachet I’ve had for a while now so I don’t know if its the old or new formula. Need to test it out in store

Body/Others

• Dove glowing Care lotion- see I love the original body lotion so I thought to try this one. Whilst it smells great, the hydration was lackingg
• Dove one cream- again lovely texture but it was lacking for hydration. Ive come to accept that i like my body creams/lotion to have a little oily feel to them. This doesnt do that.
• Armani My Way perfume- not the usual scent profile for me but i really liked it. I wont buy it again though because Ive now discovered my signature scent profile and Imma stick with that!
• Viktor & Rolf flowerbomb Orchid– now this is my signature scent profile! I lovee the original so I wanted to compare this to it. they are very similar maybe this is a little sweeter? anyway something I will definitely get again!
• Classic Gel polish remover- this is from the pound shop! do not sleep on this stuff it works quickly to remove my gel x extensions. its super drying though but its expected
• Classic nail polish remover- another pound shop find! this is great for regular polish but actually works really well for gel polish too. it just takes a little longer than the gel polish remover but i still really like it.
• Beetles Gel top coat– I have a full review of Beetles coming soon!
• Superdrug baby wipes- I love having these around to clean my vanity, makeup palettes/hands when I’m doing my makeup

Hair

• Shea Moisture Raw shea butter rinse out conditioner- so I feel like the formula/texture has definetly changed. I have used this conditioner a while back befor ethey sold the company and I just remember it been much creamier & thicker than this. This one is very thin and runny. I did like it, it has good slip for finger detangling but i just feel liek it was thicker before

• Keracare Cleansing cream- one of the best shampoos for my hair! review here
• The Ordinary Peptide serum- this stuff works. i dont want to say too much as I want to do a full dedicated post but I am now on my 2nd bottle
• Cyndy hair oil
• Function of beauty deep conditioner booster *- i added this to the SM conditioner and others too, not sure if it made a difference.
• Christophe Robin salt scalp scrub- i actually used this as a brush cleanser and it was very effective

I’m really excited I got through more products over the last 2 months but I really need to up my game to meet my goal lool. I’ve linked all my full reviews. see you in May for my next batch of empties.

PS we need a better recycling scheme for beauty products. Boots have one but its not the easiest scheme to use. Anywayss catch you laterr
