Tatcha, is one of those luxury skincare brands for me. They been on my radar for some time now and last year I gifted myself their mini favorites gift set for Christmas. This set is excellent value for money and gives a good introduction to the brand so I thought I would do mini reviews for the items I have used up do far.

The set has the following items and its housed in a cute makeup/vanity bag. image from Tatcha. So far I have used 5 out of the 6 items

• THE CAMELLLIA CLEANSING OIL | 50 ml
• THE DEEP CLEANSE | 50 ml
• THE ESSENCE | 25 ml
• THE WATER CREAM | 10 ml
• THE DEWY SKIN CREAM | 10 ml
• THE RICE WASH | 50 ml

The creams- both 10ml creams lasted a little over 1 week if not exactly 1 week using them twice a day. This is my 2nd time using the water cream and I still love it. its a light weight gel cream that adds instant hydration to the skin. It sinks in really well but for my combo skin in the winter I still needed to layer with something else. It was my first time using the Dewy skin cream and I think I love it more than the water cream. This is a thicker moisturiser, it moisturizes and softens the skin and leaves it with a dewy finish- just like promised. Out of the 2 I would re purchase the dewy cream again. They are both beautifully scented and I didn’t experience any issues with them.

I’m currently using the Tatcha cleansing oil and let me say how beautiful this is! Its a lightweight silky oil with a beautiful scent and works well with makeup removal. It emulsifies so easily and removes all traces of makeup. Does really well with waterproof mascara too! Although I prefer balm cleansers, I will buy this again! I will do a full review later.

The essence is nice and hydrating. I think it could offer a bit more hydration because if you were to purchase this full price it would cost a pretty penny. This is not something I would pick up by its self but I don’t mind it been part of a set.

I have been using the Rice wash cleanser and it is 100% worth the hype! It removes all traces of SPF, makeup from the skin, leaves it feeling soft and smoother. The cream cleanser feels so gentle and soft on the skin. This cleanser broke all my rules. I personally don’t believe in spending a lot on a cleanser because its simply going down the drain lol. BUT lately I’ve been using luxury cleansers and my mind (and skin) is thinking twice about this rule of mine looool. Im here for the luxury cleansers now and I will repurchase this

The item I want to try the most from Tatcha is the Luminous Dewy skin mist! As a dewy skin lover, its been on my radar for a while! This will be the year I get my hands (and face) on it lool.
