I have rediscovered my love for k beauty and its here to stay! So back in March, I was looking for a new toner and came across Stylevana, one of the very popular websites for k beauty. The toners I saw were packed full of good ingredients and had many benefits compared to a traditional toner in Boots for example. I decided then to get some toners/essences as well as some other items for testing. Whilst I was there I also picked up a few k beauty alternatives to my Estee Lauder ANR! I always buy this during their buy 1 get 1 free offer however they haven’t done this for the last 2 years LOL and I’m down to my last 2 from when I last bulk purchased them in the sale.

Stylevana experience

I have to admit I thought Stylevana was a scam LOL. They have the same products as YesStyle which I am familiar with but their prices are much much lower. Additionally, the product page doesn’t always have the ingredients on there which I find weird. The shipping is SLOW! I mean so SLOW. Even for items that say dispatched within 24hrs, it takes a few days to 1 week to the item to be shipped then a few more days to arrive. I did 2 orders and they both took 2 weeks to arrive. They send too many emails lol as well.

These are the items I picked up with mini reviews/initial thoughts

• KAINE – Kombu Balancing Ampoule Toner – this is a possible dupe for the Fresh Kombuca facial essence
• APLB – Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide HA B5 Facial Cream
• BANILA CO – Clean it Zero Special Kit
• Axis-Y – Complete No Stress Physical Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++
• Axis-Y – Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum – 50ml – I got this to treat my hyperpigmentation. I stopped using the Eucerin dual serum because I wasnt enjoying it so much. Review the review of that here
• COSRX – Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner

The Estee Lauder dupes I picked up are

• Isntree – TW-Real Bifida Ampoule – I think this is more similar to Lancome Genifique but looking forward to testing it all the same
• Ma:nyo – Bifida Biome Complex Ampoule – this was the first real dupe I looked at, at Stylevana. The ingredients list is very similar to ANR
• RAMOSU – Bifida Ferment Lysate 100 – 10ml×5 – this product is so unique, in that its 100% perfect bifida with nothing else added! It’s one of the ANR dupes I picked up. I’m on my 2nd ampoule already. Let me say this: never heard of the Ramosu brand, the ampoule isn’t hydrating BUT it had been so amazing so far! My skin feels and looks really nice, almost like using ANR. I have to layer a few serums on this for hydrating & other benefits but I really really like this as a dupe for ANR although its not an exact dupe

• I’m From – Honey Mask – this is such a popular brand and mask and I really thought I found a similar product to my beloved Farmacy Honey potion. This mask is not it. I used it for the 1st time and I left a weird film on my skin and I ended up having to wash it off. I will try it again but Im glad I only picked up the travel size.
• PyunkangYul – Essence Toner – another popular product but I’m so so disappointed with it. I didnt find it hydrating and I didnt think there was anything special about it. I got the travel size and I’m glad I did that
• PURITO – Pure Vitamin C Serum – I know vitamin c is unstable but the rate this is turning brown is shocking. This product arrived and I passed it to my hubby to start using it on 13th march. It was clear. I switched his products around so I took this off him to start using it on the 17th and the colour was already a bit off. By 10th April, it had a slight tint in it. I don’t think I have long before it oxidizes and becomes useless. I’ve used pure vitamin c serums before but none has turned as quickly as this.
• Daymellow’ – Aquaron Watery Emulsion – this was such an impulse buy BUT this emulsion is the most hydrating product I have ever used! its a huge 300ml which will last me forever. It feels so hydrating & softening on the skin!

I’m really happy with some of the items I have picked dup so far. I’m trying to use k beauty toners & essences more this year so look out for a full review on the items. I can confirm Stylevana is not a scam, if you want to order make sure you do so well in advance and be prepared to wait!
