I was introduced to Mylee last year when I was invited to a launch event. I had never heard of the brand but since it was gel nails I was interested and decided to go. I am so happy I did because I fell in love! If you don’t know them, they are a nail care brand with gel polish and nail accessories as well as some body care stuff too.

This post will be a review on the nail care products I have used from the brand. I was gifted most of the items I have but I have also purchased some. All the products I have from them are pictured below.

I was gifted the nail lamp, the entire space odyssey collection, top and base coat and some prep wipes (all used up). I purchased the 2 in 1 prep & , some more topcoats, builder gel and some colours.

Why I fell in love with Mylee? At the event I was invited to, we were also treated to a express gel manicure. Usually when I get gel manicures on my natural nail, I get about 3 days wear before it chips or peels. Even when done professionally. HOWEVER, after my express manicure at the event, the gel lasted a good week or more before I noticed a small chip! No other chips or peels! I was amazed because that had never happened! From there I bought more colours, and I was asked friends and family for some more as gifts lol. Then I noticed their nude elements nail polish collection, which is amazing and worth checking out! Plus, they have nail swatch videos on their YT. These just sold the brand to me!

Review

The colours are so pigmented and vivid, and they have A LOT of them. Every shade possibly lol. Have you seen the spotlight collection? Oh my! I also love the range of topcoats they have, matte, glitter, etc. they simply deliver on their promise, they are long lasting, and I don’t get the burning sensation when curing them. The shine from the glossy topcoat lasts ages! And I love how velvety matte the matte topcoat is too. The 2 in 1 prep wipes were amazing. The topcoat doesn’t leave a sticky finish however I still use the wipes over them to finish my manicures.  They also work great to cleanse the nail as prep. It’s the same formula in the liquid version I have now, and I love it!

Verdict- I had the beetles nail gel polish collection + lamp previously and its nothing compared to Mylee. As a matter of fact, I’ve packed them up and use Mylee exclusively. They are pricier than Beetles but 100% worth it. I ve had the collection since September and been loving it since then
