Hi all, I hope all is well! We made it to the end of Jan guys! phew!

For the last couple of years I have been doing an empties challenge, the aim is for me to use up all my older products, it hasn’t been going well lol but this year since I’m taking better care of my hair, I’m going to be more intentional about using the products I have.

My 2024 empties challenge is 500 empties by 31st Dec 2024! its a lot I know lol but I have broken this down into tiers:
Target- 500 empties ( approx 41.6 products a month)
Tier 1- 400 ( approx 33.3 products a month)
Tier 2- 366 ( approx 1 empty a day for the year)
Tier 3- 213 ( this was my final empties I got last year)

Within the challenge I have specific items I want to use up too eg like a foundation, primer etc

So how many empties this month? 14 LOOOOOOOL, not even half of my monthly target lol. But its also worth noting I started using a lot of new products late last year so hopefully by Feb/March should have a few more empties. Ok now for the mini reviews and if I will repurchase anything.

Hair Empties
Cantu Grapeseed Shampoo*- I have a full review here. Whilst I liked it for my hair, I decided to use it for my makeup brushes and boy did it work very well! I love it for that
Olapex No3– by now you should know how much I love this product! My full review on the Olapex line is here

Beauty Empties
The Ordinary Multi Peptide+HA serum– I have a post on peptides coming soon but this one is now my staple peptide serum. I will repurchase once I finish my current one
Eucerin Skin perfecting serum– my full review is here. I love this serum
The Ordinary Salicylic acid serum– I have repurchased a bunch of times. my fav BHA serum
Freya Bailey Peptide Renewal Neck & Decolletage treatment*– I did not see any benefits with this serum. I personally don’t use products specifically for the neck area as I put everything I put on my face on my neck and chest anyways and its been working for me. I decided to try this because I was gifted it. The addition of this didn’t add any other benefits.      Freya Bailey Biome C serum*- I must admit I was confused by the name of the serum. I kept thinking it was/had vitamin c because of the ‘C’ in the name however its actually a Q10 serum. Again I didn’t see any benefits to my skin and in terms of hydration it was ok.
Estee Lauder ANR- my HG serum. Never without it in my routine
Cosrx master patch- the only patches I use to protect my spots from myself lol. need to get a top up!

Other empties
Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Cream– the scent? AMAZING but the moisture is lacking! I used this layered underneath my perfumes to boost the scent. I love it for that and if I were to purchase it would be for that sole purpose. Primark large cotton rounds– enough said lol         Mitchum roll on– the only anti perspirant I use. It keeps me dry but the white marks?lol that yellow thing lol was a weaving thread thingy- I’ve had that for years. I’m talking at least 6 or 7 years and its finally finished!   Sephora coconut footmask– it was ok, my feet felt nice afterwards but nothing special. I will buy this because I like using these foot masks not because they are amazing

That’s all! 14 empties not the best start to my empties challenge but looking forward to this month’s addition. I smashed my empties challenge the 1st year I did it, the subsequent years however is a diff story lol but I’m hoping for this year, I want to hit my tier 2 goal at least. I will be checking in every month
