Happy New Year! I hope this year brings you everything you need and want!

This post will be a quick take on my favourite 5 products of 2023 and why I will keep using them this year too! ( also why you should consider them)

1^st –Paula’s Choice Anti-Aging Antioxidant Serum

I wanted to move on from vitamin c only serums and came across this beautiful serum. It’s a blend of amazing ingredients including vit c, ferulic acid and other antioxidants and skin replenishment ingredients. I love this serum and have repurchased a few times. The gel-based serum is hydrating and lightweight and layers well with other products. It leaves the skin dewy. I highly recommend this in place of a vitamin c only serum for extra benefits. Why get 1 benefit from 1 ingredient when you can enjoy multiple benefits of multiple ingredients?!

2^nd and 3^rd– BIOSSANCE Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum and The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (“Buffet”)

So last year I discovered peptides and I have never looked back! I would say 2 have stood out and I have repurchased these- BIOSSANCE Squalane + Copper Peptide Rapid Plumping Serum* and The Ordinary’s Multi-Peptide + HA Serum (“Buffet”). These 2 are lightweight, hydrating and help to smooth and maintain a healthy skin barrier. Consider adding peptides to you routine.

4^th –Estee Lauder ANR

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum- this has been my holy grail serum for the last 2-3 years, I repurchase this every time its on offer and I’m never going back! Its hydrating, layers well with every product and active ingredient and helps repair my skin overnight. I have tried similar serums but I always come back to ANR. Its great for ‘resetting’ the skin when travelling. Amazing for barrier repair. You wake up to the most beautiful hydrated skin.

5^th– Skinfix Barrier+ Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream*

I discovered this later in 2023 but this product transformed my skin this winter. This cream is rich and hydrating and helps repair the skin. It leaves the skin super dewy (wouldn’t recommend for oilier skintypes but they have a gel cream and lotion texture too). I love this product and will be switching to the lighter textures in the warmer months and back to the thicker cream in the colder months.
