Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub Macadamia and Rice Milk Review

Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub Macadamia and Rice Milk Review

What’s your pamper routine like? Mine involves a good body scrub, mask and luxurious butter! I have used a few body scrubs in the last year and one of these is the Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub in the Macadamia and Rice Milk scent. The body scrubs come in 3 scents but I opted for the soft baby powder scent of the macadamia and rice milk scent.

Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub Macadamia and Rice Milk promises to leave your skin silky smooth and soft by gentle exfoliation. It uses crushed macadamia nuts as natural exfoilants and its also deeply nourishing thanks to Dove’s moisturising cream

Experience

I have had this scrub for a while and I am also out of it. I probably use it about 2 to 3 times a month. I find the scent subtle and it isn’t overpowering and doesn’t linger when the scrub is washed off.

The scrub has ‘fine’ grains and you can see the crushed macadamia nuts in it but they are not chunky. I find the scrub gritty and it’s good enough to get the job done, it’s thick and feels creamy and very easy to scope out of the tub. I do pair it with a sponge, very light pressure and rub in circular motions on dry skin all over my skin. I haven’t had a reaction to the scrub.

I find it very easy to wash off and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. This comes in a big 225ml tub so it will last you a while since you are not using it every day.

Verdict

It’s a good budget-friendly body scrub and the big size means it will last a while. My skin isn’t dry after washing it off but it’s not deeply moisturised either. It’s comfortable and I really like that about this product. The scent isn’t overpowering and it doesn’t linger on the skin.

Dove Exfoliating Body Scrub Macadamia and Rice Milk is £5.99 in Superdrug
