Pur Miracle Mist Review

So my love affair with makeup settings sprays has come to a temporary standstill: I have literally and officially run out of space to store them lol so I am currently working my way through a backlog! Today’s post will be a full review on the Pur Miracle Mist Hydrate & Set Mist that I have been using for the last few months

Pur Cosmetic’s Miracle Mist promises to instantly deliver moisture to dry and tired skin. It’s made with over 70 essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids. There are also promises of nourishment, makeup setting and refreshing skin’s appearance

Experience

So I bought this mist because people say it’s very comparable to Mac Fix Plus (which I love and the scented ones are now PERMANENT!) so I purchased this when I got a gift card for M&S as they stock it. My full verdict? I have been very disappointed with its performance. Firstly, it has the tendency to dry in patches and although you can barely see it I know it’s there. I also feel like the mist doesn’t add any hydration or moisture to my skin, I use the Miracle Mist as a 1st mist after powdering to take away excess powder but my skin looks very indifferent after misting. I have to layer this on 2 or 3 times before I am satisfied with how ‘hydrated’ and ‘glowy’ my skin looks (even so it’s not enough)

I made the mistake of shaking this one time I used it (they actually don’t tell you to but it’s a force of habit for me). But yh don’t shake it, it creates bubbles and those definitely leave white spots on your face!

Verdict

To say I am disappointed with the Pur Miracle Mist is an understatement. It’s definitely not comparable to the Mac Fix Plus and if you’re looking for a mist that leaves a dewy/glowy finish to your makeup, this isn’t it! I have to layer this 2 or 3 times to get any hydration then I go in with a different setting spray (Pixi Glow Mist) to get the dewy finish I love. The only pro in my opinion is the size, it’s a huge bottle, 240ml so it is good value for money and will last you ages ( I have been using this for 3 or more months but since I hate it its now a drag LOL). I cant wait to finally finish the bottle and be done with it
