Your Good Skin Challenge

Are you ready for Your Good Skin?

Your Good Skin is Boot’s brand new skincare line that has been flying off the shelves since its launch last month. I started seeing ads in my Instagram feed before seeing it stores a bit later on. I guess it’s really exciting as Boots haven’t launched a new skincare collection in quite a while. They did revamp their entire Botanicals range (including the prices) but I’m not sure if they tweaked the formulation too. Of course, their No7 skincare collection is a firm staple and a good contender in the skincare market.

Your Good Skin has some pretty amazing claims. The star of the show, Balancing Skin Concentrate has been clinically proven to improve 5 key signs of healthy-looking skin: skin tone evenness, oiliness, radiance, moisture levels and skin texture. And it does all of this in 28 days! It’s a pretty extensive collection too: cleansers, moisturisers (day and night) and a face mask, there’s a face brush as well! Within the collection, you also get mini collections that target specific skincare concerns: hydrating, mattifying and blemish clearing. The other USP of the new collection is that they co-created Your Good Skin with customers, real-life women tested these out and give their honest opinions (why wasn’t I contacted hmm lol)

Your Good Skin Challenge

Been the skincare junkie I am, I decided to test this 28-day claim.  Both my morning routine and evening routines will be changed. I could have just tried the serum, but I decided to purchase other key items as I know skincare collections have been designed to work together and they would recommend you use other items in the collection to reap FULL benefits.

Moisturisers

I picked up the SPF 30 Anti-Oxidant Day Cream and Pro-Vitamin Overnight Cream. The day cream will replace my B. Confident Day Cream (review on Instagram) and Piz Buin SPF50. The Pro-Vitamin Night Cream will replace my AA Face Cream

Serum

There is only one serum in the collection, the main show, Balancing Skin Concentrate. This serum is recommended for morning and evening use. It will replace my Boots Botanics All Bright Radiance Concentrate in the mornings and my Alpha Arbutin from the Ordinary and Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution in the evenings.

Cleanser

The Refreshing Face Wash will replace the Boots Botanics Foam Cleanser (I finally finished the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel!)

I will be using these items for the month of November and will review them at the end. This will give me enough time to test out the 28-day claim. The only products I will be switching around will be face masks and toners but I will be sticking to the Superdrug Naturally Radiant 5% Glycolic Acid and if I run out, I will be using Pixi Glow Tonic. I didn’t pick up any of the makeup removers because quite frankly they won’t have much of an impact and I have a lot to get through!

So 1st November, let’s start Your Good Skin challenge, I am super excited! Be sure to follow me on Instagram as I will be giving update periodically. I will try and keep a diary and take pictures too but I will see you on the 30th of November with a full and honest review

Did you pick up anything from the collection? Your Good Skin is available in Boots.

P.S – watch out for my Christmas Gift Guides coming in the next couple of weeks!
