I love the Pixi brand, mostly because of that very popular Glow Tonic which really set the way for my AHA journey. The NEW Pixi Vitamin Wakeup Mist was released a few months ago and I knew straight away I needed to get my hands on a bottle. I love their Glow Mist makeup setting spray too- a review on that is coming soon.
The NEW Pixi Wakeup Mist is not a setting spray which is why I was very drawn to it. They describe it as a boosting treatment toner that gives a revitalized awakened effect to the complexion. It has been blended with orange blossom water and citrus extracts. The mist can be used before moisturizer or after makeup application.
Experience
I have been using this mist every day for at least 2 months now and I must admit I LOVE it. Let’s talk scent- I am a huge fan or orange/citrus scent so no surprise I love this scent. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t linger for too long.
It sprays in a fine mist and dries fairly quickly. After drying, my skin feels nice and doesn’t feel tight or dry. My skin also looks refreshed. I use the mist as the last step in my skincare routine (serum, cream, sunscreen, serum) in the mornings on makeup free days. It doesn’t clog my pores or leave my skin looking oily. It’s very refreshing and I think it leaves my skin looking fresh and more ‘awake’. It’s perfect for tired skin or when I need an extra boost of hydration!
I haven’t used the Pixi Vitamin Mist over makeup yet so I am not sure how it performs. I haven’t experienced any irritation from the mist and it doesn’t clog my pores. It doesn’t specify a skin type so I am guessing it’s suitable for all skin types. I have normal to combo oily skin and I didn’t think it made my T zone look any oilier than usual. Verdict
Another mist I am loving from Pixi! The new Vitamin Wakeup Mist is a must have if you love face mists like I do! It leaves skin fresh and looking more energized plus the scent is very nice too. its hydrating which I think will be perfect for dry skin types.
The NEW Vitamin Wakeup Mist is £16 from PixiBeauty
I’m starting to love skincare mists so definitely looking to experiment with a few more. I think these mists are different to thermal spring face mists which I LOVE and use to balance my skin after acid treatments/toners.
Other face mists I have reviewed
Until next time
