L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist Review

L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist Review

The big finale in my drugstore setting spray review series. This final instalment will be a review on the L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist. Let’s get into it

The spray promises to give a long lasting finish and extend the just applied makeup look.

Experience

Tbh this was the one setting spray I wasn’t looking forward to which is why I left it for last. My 1st impressions on this were very bad lol. Basically, I decided to test the spray out on my hands and it was all good till it dried. It left horrible white powdery stains on my hands! (Hindsight I didn’t shake at all), on the second try, I shook it a bit and sprayed on my hands and again the white powdery stains returned but bloggers honour (lol if that’s a thing?!) I decided to go ahead and use it for my review.

This spray requires you to shake it very very well! The spray has some form of white powder in it which settles to the bottom when it’s not being used. If you don’t shake it properly before use, it will leave white powdery stains on your face!

If you can get past that, it’s a nice spray. Not really mattifying, maybe a natural semi-matte finish which I don’t mind (coming from someone who loves dewy finish). it also promises Anti-fading, melting and cracking which I found to be true. After getting a little heated during my errands, my makeup was still on!

Verdict

If you are going to get this, make sure you give it a good shake before using. Shake it till all the powder has dissolved and you have a milky solution and spray very lightly. Shake then shake some more then shake some more to cover your tracks lol. I wouldn’t want your makeup to be ruined (that would be too painful lol)

L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist is £7.99 and available from Superdrug

That’s the end of my Drugstore setting spray review series, I hope you found this helpful and found something new to try. For me, I think I have enough setting sprays to last the year lool.

In order of my favs and which I think worked best for my skin type- normal / combination skin

  1. Makeup revolution Pro Fix
  2. L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist
  3. MUA Mattifying Mist
  4. Maybelline SuperStay Setting Spray– I hate this lol

Cash me outside lol on Instagram for more products and shenanigans
