Hey guys,I hope you are doing great. I have been working on a block of products reviews to help inform your shopping, either for yourself or loved one (tis the season of giving!) Make sure you check out my review index for more reviews that can hopefully save you some money and heartache ( nothing is worse than spending money on a product that doesn’t work!)
Onto today’s review…
Today, I will be reviewing the very popular Bioderma Micellar Water! Bioderma is a French brand and is well known for their skincare products, in particular, the micellar water. I have been using the Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Micelle Solution (green bottle) which targets Combination/Oily skin.
Bioderma has different types of the micellar water targeting different skin types (For more info on these, visit the Bioderma website)
Bioderma Sensibio H2O (pink bottle)- sensitive skin ( most popular)
Bioderma Hydrabio H2O (blue bottle)- dehydrated sensitive skin
It’s supposed to gently cleanse and remove makeup without drying out the skin.
Experience
A bit about my skin- my skin type is normal to combination (oily) but more on the normal side of the scale. Oily areas- t-zone
I found the micellar water very effective at removing mascara (with a few swipes) and all other forms of makeup including liquid lipsticks. My skin though felt slightly tight in my normal areas and normal in my oily areas. This is expected and understandable as the product targets oily skin. I didn’t experience any irritation or breakouts with the product. It leaves a horrible taste on the lips lol.
Verdict
I love micellar water technology so naturally I love this product too( what’s Micellar Water anyway? Read more on it here. I would recommend it for oily skin types but if your skin type is similar to mine, you will be able to get away with it too. Is it worth the hype? I think it’s very good but it isn’t the best micellar water I have tried.
Bioderma Sebium H2O starts at £5 (100ml) on FeelUnique Currently having a 25% off discount on Bioderma products.
