I have been eyeing Glossy Box for a while now and I am so happy I finally decided to get it for my birthday! The thing with beauty boxes is, it’s a 50/50 chance you will like the products you get. Been a #woc I am very sceptical of some of the products I will get, especially the makeup shades. Will it be suitable for my skintone? And I am aware they ask you to fill out a beauty profile but do they REALLY take that into account? Etc
Back to Glossy Box, the May Box focused on beauty essentials for travel. I got 5 products and a mini snack too!

Overall thoughts
Do I think it’s worth it? Yes! You get a lot for the price you pay for the box. I believe I got a lot of mini sizes because the box focused on travel but I think Glossy Boxes have at least 1 full size product. Even so the mascara and lippie are full sized products and worth almost £15! I am really happy with the contents too, I have been searching for SPF for my body (atm I use my ultra-sun hand cream which has SPF for my legs and body lol) so the Hawaiian Tropic comes at a very good time, plus it’s been really sunny here in the UK lately. The Revlon mascara is new, and I am happy to have got the full size for so much less! The Velvet lippie feels very nice on and smells nice BUT the shade is totally wrong for my skintone, it’s very chalky on me so I would either use it as a topper of find a good lip liner for it. Ceptaphil cleanser I will definitely use as my new travel cleanser and I have the Bee Good moisturiser in full size although I haven’t started using it yet. All in all I am very happy with my very 1st Glossy Box!
