The Intern Diaries: Day 4

Dear Diary

I have great news! So remember I said the stylist wasn’t picking up? Ok so I called him again this morning and he didn’t pick up, so I decided to carry on with other tasks I have been given. As I was doing them I got a call saying someone wanted to speak to me and I was like okkk, it was him! He was so nice and sweet then at the end he said ‘good luck and well done, you did well!’ aww like he actually called me! Lol

So after I did my write up and completed other stuff and I took it for feedback and braced my elf for it, as always notepad and pen in hand and she goes, well done Sarah, much better and guess what NO RE WORKS! And she was impressed at how quickly I did them too lool tbh I could go for lunch because the only cash point around the area was broken and none of the shops accepted card payments kmt! I was so hungry lool

I had two events after work: bare minerals Christmas party and Shea moisture. Guys Shea moisture is available in the UK! In boots! It’s a glorious day! I will update my Facebook soon with pictures. I just got home and I am so tired and hungry, still haven’t had proper food but I am so pleased with my progress at work! I just hope to keep it up!

Anyway guys I am off to dream land! I’m so tired

Love

Sarah Fynn

P.S- my food is calling me

Bye guys

Hey guys, so I have an internship at a top UK magazine for the next 2 weeks and I will be documenting the journey in my intern diaries! I won’t reveal where/who I am working for (maybe I will at the end? Or if you can guess lol, a giveaway?). Just know it’s an editorial assistant internship and I am not making tea/coffee lol.

I hope this inspires someone who is thinking of a similar internship to get out there and apply. It can be quite daunting and there is always that ‘Will I just be making drinks and doing the photocopying’ cliché. But internships are great especially if you are thinking of a career change- which I am currently thinking of and want to test drive to see if it’s actually the right path for you plus you’re getting some experience and making contacts. And if you’re amazing enough and they can afford it- your dream job

Hello there and welcome to my blog! My name is Sarah Fynn and I am the creator of this blog. So a bit about me, I LOVE travelling, all things hair and beaut. I love LOVE science! This blog came about as I began to transition to natural hair way back in 2011(Well it isn’t that long ago really lol). This blog will focus on 4 main areas Natural Hair. This area will have a diverse range of topics e.g. product reviews and recommendations, tips, advice and virgin hair review (my go to protective style) Lifestyle. This area is mainly poetry, inspiration and anything that doesn’t quite fit the other 3 areas Events. This is self-explanatory really. I will be covering events for my blog about natural hair, beauty and fashion or the odd event I find interesting Travel. Of course I will be bringing you posts on my adventures around the world! One of my goals is go to every single country! My travel posts may not be as regular as I would like (money problems lol) so in the meantime I will be talking about how to budget/plan and organise a trip! With any area, my aim is to INSPIRE you to either travel or go to an event even if it’s you alone, or to let you know your natural hair journey CAN BE SIMPLE! (Eek! I will try my bestest with that part)! Here you will find simple and straight forward information without the technical jargon or wooh-tah (seriously don’t you just hate that?) So don’t be a stranger and SUBSCRIBE its free. I make sure I post regularly unless I have had a very stressful week/month. Leave any comments or drop me an email to say hi, I would love to hear from you. If you’re a company/blogger and you’re interested in working with me, believe I want to too! Drop me an email if I don’t get to you first lol (I hope that doesn’t sound creepy) Email- sarah_fynn@hotmail.com Thanks for visiting and have a blessed day. Love Sarah.
