Hi everyone, I hope all is well. Today’s post is a full review on the Multi Acid Peel from Murad. I’ve had this product for a while and its time to share my thoughts on it. Let’s get into it
What it is?
Daily bi-phase peel accelerates cell renewal by 33% in 7 days while nourishing skin to prevent dryness and reduce irritation.

Experience
The multi acids in this product are AHA- glycolic, lactic and malic, BHA- salicylic acid and TXA- tranexamic acid. The other phase has antioxidant rich oils. It’s a 2-phase product that you shake up before use. I use mine in the PM only 2 times a week.
So, I’ve had this product for a very long time, I bought it probably 3 years ago during my acid phase lol. I had a phase where I was really into acidic skincare, so I bought and tried a lot of acid based toners and serums. I’ve used this toner intermittently over the years but more frequently in the last 6 months as I wanted to use it up. It doesn’t say the percentage of each acid on the product or website but it is quite mild as it does produce a tingling sensation after use, even for someone like me who is quite used to high acidic content. I use the toner in addition to a hydrating mist to reduce the sensation, but I have also used it without one. Its not a burning uncomfortable sensation but you will feel something.
The toner leaves the skin glowing, thanks to the oil in it, I don’t find it hydrating which is why I like to follow up with the hydrating mist.
Verdict
Does it work? It terms of smoothing the skin? Absolutely! I love how radiant and smooth my skin looks the next day. In terms of dark spot reduction, I don’t use it consistently enough to notice a difference. I use it 2 times weekly, with a good few days in between and other dark spot reduction products so its difficult to say if any reduction is due to this toner. I will say it’s a good addition to my hyperpigmentation routine. If you want to check out my full routine, read my previous post here
I also quite like the mixture of acids in the toner, which all work together for surface and deeper level exfoliation. I like the dewiness it leaves from the oil, but I suspect if you have oiler skin or just prefer a matte finish, you may not like this.
It may not be the easiest product to add to a routine though, for instance I wouldn’t recommend this in addition to a high strength retinol or other acids and with the mixture of acids it may not be suitable for everyone and not for sensitive skin. But it does layer very well with hydrating products and peptides. A mist hydrating toner is highly recommended to use with it.
Will I purchase this again? Yes! I love the multi acids and how it leaves my skin. I like the benefits from the range of acids.
