Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing great! It’s been a long time since I posted on my blog! I sort of forgot about it and was focused on Instagram for a while, but I decided to come back and write more! I do miss writing and Instagram has become an unrecognizable place for me.
So, I’m coming back to blogging with something I know best, a skincare review! Today I’m talking about the Nivea Rose care Micellar Face wash and the 2 in 1 Cleanser & toner.

Face wash
The facewash is a foaming gel-based cleanser that suds nicely and cleans the skin gently. It has a subtle soft scent and its very similar to any other rose products on the market (it smells like Garnier Rose Toner). The scent isn’t overpowering. I have normal to combo skin, and it doesn’t strip it of its moisture.
In terms of cleansing power- I would say whilst it’s not the greatest I ever used, its also not the worst. I like it for morning cleanses only, when there is less residue on my face, and I just need a gentle cleanse. When I have used this in the evenings, I feel like my face isn’t thoroughly cleansed with evidence on my cotton pads.
2 in 1 Cleanser & Toner
I don’t like the 2 in 1 cleanser & toner for a few reasons. 1- I don’t like the multi-use products, they never seem to work well for me. I won’t skip toner because of this product so for me, it’s a waste, 2- the cleansing power of this, in terms of removing makeup is poor. I must use a lot of it, and it struggled against foundation! And I personally won’t use this as a first cleanser it leaves a weird oilyish film on the skin.
It has the same scent as the cleanser and has a soft cream texture. It doesn’t strip the skin.
Verdict- the cleanser isn’t the worst or best on the market, its inexpensive to use so you can try without too much loss. I like it for mornings. The 2 in 1 cleanser & toner is simply a waste of time. I don’t recommend it
I was sent these products for free by Nivea
I hope to bring you a lot more content. Stay tuned!
