Hey guys, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY. I quickly want to share my new hair growth out challenge (then head back to thesis writing (-_-). So as I said earlier, after finishing my hairfinity 3 month journey I will be starting out on biotin in my continued attempt of getting to waist length hair. You can see my final thoughts and update on hairfinity by clicking here >>

So I got an 8 month supply of 10,000 mcg of Biotin from Amazon (Each bottle has 120 tablet- 4 month supply BIOTIN Optimum Strength – 10,000mcg | 4 Months Supply, 120 Tablets | Innopure®), so this will be a really looong journey.

I am also thinking of incorporating JBCO sometime during this challenge (maybe around month 4/5 to see the effects of biotin by itself). I just started taking them today and as you can see the pill size is tiny I don’t really have a problem with pill size but I know some people do. I am drinking at least 2 litres of water as well (aint nobody got time to be dealing with breakouts!) and drinking (or trying to remember to drink) green tea with lime/lemon (on 3 occasions where I have made green tea and FORGOTTEN TO DRINK IT LOL).  I am also taking them in conjunction with my well woman multivitamins as I read that taking biotin with a multivitamin will help reduce the chances of breaking out.

I am also going back to my no heat routine as I realised my hair might be heat damaged from all the times I used to blow dry.  I didn’t use any heat during my hairfinity challenge, just at the end when I wanted to stretch out my hair fully ) I also cut about 1 to 1.5 inches of hair off (ends) to get rid of any split or damaged ends.

I will be updating you guys as usual every month with progress so stay tuned. Please check my previous links on hair growth supplements- it has all my Biotin research on there ( I didn’t just up and buy Biotin) >>

That’s all folks, enjoy your day and talk to you soon.

Hey family, hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the weather (no of course you’re not enjoying this freezing cold weather LOL!). However good news is here! (Well for the people who have been thinking of taking hairfinity but are just not quite sure if you want to invest in it!) I have my one month update even though it’s long overdue (I have no excuses). Right so let’s get into it!

Most important question: DID I EXPERIENCE GROWTH?

YES. Normally my hair grows about ½ an inch monthly but I would also say my hair sheds quite a bit. Now obviously that would make it difficult to retain any growth right? So, how did hairfinity help? Well for starters shedding was reduced by up to 70% or more I think. I experienced less shedding during detangling and washing! I wish I took pictures but from month two, I will begin to add hair pictures to these posts.  As you can see from my measurements, I first measured my hair on the 29th of September; however I didn’t start taking hairfinity till the 2nd of October. So from then until the 2nd November when I actually measured by hair, I have experienced about 2 inches growth! As you can see my crown area did not grow (weird) and I have no idea why!

I didn’t have a set time I took the pills, but mostly I took them in the evening( only because in the mornings for me I would be rushing  about for uni or work so it wouldn’t have been ideal for me.) It also did not matter for me if I took them before or after a meal either. About missing pills, there were some days I missed. Some days I couldn’t remember if I had taken them or not so just to be safe and not overdose I did not take them that day. Also there was a whole weekend I was away from home and didn’t take the pills with me, so in total I had missed about 4 days or more, so then I would take them the next day which is probably why I didn’t finish the bottle exactly on the 2nd of November. But I have been taking them for 30 days.

Not for me! The one thing I was worried about was breaking out as almost every woman on YouTube said. To try and combat that I started drinking a minimum of 1 litre of water a day to flush out any excess vitamins/minerals so as to reduce the chances of a breakout. Did it work? YES. However, ( yh there is always a however or but) I started using lemon juice as a toner to help with my complexion and the results have been phenomenal! I am not exaggerating. I USED to have breakout prone skin, but since I started using  lemon juice as a toner PLUS drinking lots of water, my skin is glowing. Like GLOWING.

As for hairs in other areas I have not noticed any weird growth anywhere else. Although my friend has told me about her eyebrows growing a lot LOL (now I wish that happened to me since that woman who threaded my eyebrows made it so thin, but let’s not go there)

A lot of people also talk about how it made their hair softer, thicker (especially at the roots) and healthier. For me, in terms of thickness, I have not noticed a difference. My hair is naturally very thick especially at the roots so in my all processes of detangling and washing I have not noticed a change. As for my hair been softer, again before I started hairfinity my hair was quite brittle as I used to shampoo every week and blow dry after every wash. But (see another but!) in starting my hairfinity journey, I also started a no heat challenge for 3 months. I have noticed a difference with my hair been softer but I can’t say for sure if its hairfinity or cutting out the heat. I also made a few changes to my routine- cowashing every week and shampoo every other week. Hot oil treatments once a month and more finger detangling. (Probably not the best idea now that I think of it to start new things at the same time) so I guess time will tell with that area. I also noticed my nails been a bit stronger and growing a bit quicker.

My overall impression is good for month 1. I think it’s a good investment but be ready to also make some changes in order to help promote new growth instead on fully depending on a pill. I am now on my second bottle and I hope the results can continue.

Hey guys, happy new month of March! I hope everyone’s month started on a good note like mine. So as you all know, I had to lay down my aliexpress queen love tresses because they were so horrible! I purchase some new hair from a new vendor and this post will be a one month review on the hair. Let’s get started!

So the vendor’s name is RHOVIRGIN hair and I purchased the Cambodian loose wave in 24, 22, 16 and 14 inches with a matching 12 inch middle parting closure. The natural curl pattern is beautiful on this hair.  When I first got it, running my fingers through it for the first time I got no tangling and almost no shedding but honestly you will see in the picture its nothing My closure came bleached already! I LOVE THE CLOSURE! And it also has baby hair. Overall it’s the most natural looking closure I have had.

shedding LOL. told you it was nothing!

The delivery was quite quick too bearing in mind I live in Spain. I paid £190(excluding delivery) for the 4 bundles and closure. Not bad.  I installed this hair on a wig cap as usual, sewing underneath the wefts and using the elastic band method for the closure.  I also added three combs, two in the front and one in the back. I also sealed all my wefts, front and back using fray check (you can check out how to seal wefts and which products to use on YouTube) now let’s get started on the details of the hair!

First I should say, all hair sheds. With this in mind and sealing my wefts, my hair sheds still a bit. Every time I brush and run my fingers through. And wash the hair. It’s nothing that is unbearable and on a scale from 1 to queen love aliexpress, it may come out as a 4. Lol if you hair sheds as much as my aliexpress hair you need to throw it away. LOL. I really don’t like hair that sheds a lot so I am trying different things in order to reduce the shedding.

With longer lengths, you should expect some tangling and matting in the back especially around the nape area. With that been said I have noticed my hair tends to tangle a lot when its styled. (Even when it’s straight) it’s nothing a quick comb through can’t fix but with that also comes shedding. I always comb through my hair with a wide tooth comb and always start from the ends and work my way up (before you ask how I comb my hair) I also try and comb the hair with a little bit of spray leave in conditioner.

Curl retention

One thing I like about this hair is the natural curl. I also like it when curled with my wand and curling tong. I noticed the wand curls last longer on the hair than the tong curls. The hair is beautiful when straight too but I prefer it curly/wavy. THE ENDS of the HAIR are AMAZING. NO SPLIT ENDS!

The beards and wefting on the hair is just lush! It’s the best I have seen so far. My hair came with some grey hairs but wait, when I dye when hair it gave me natural highlights!

The hair waves back up when dry which I love! Also braid outs work perfectly on this hair in addition to the natural curl pattern.

I recently bleached and dyed the hair and it took the colour beautifully! The original plan was to do this right after I got the hair but the natural colour of the hair was so nice I decided to keep the hair for a while before changing the colour. I also noticed the hair loves products and tends to get a bit dry if I don’t use my daily leave in conditioner or oils. Coconut oil works wonders on the hair. My hair is full and has volume but its super light! Love. I really like that it’s not too heavy.

Final thoughts

I don’t know what to feel about the hair. I like it but I would like to reduce the shedding and tangling. The hair is beautiful and my new colour looks really nice. I would recommend the seller though. She has lots of textures in stock at affordable prices. Check her out on instagram. (@rhovirginhair). She also offers colouring and wig making services so its hassle free for you!
