It’s a deep conditioning party and there’s no such thing as having too many deep conditioners! Let no one tell you that, you don’t need such negativity in your life! As I keep searching for the best deep conditioners on the market, I will keep bringing you guys updates on the latest and best products out there for us. In today’s post, I will update the previous Best Deep Conditioners list with my new Top 5 Natural Hair Deep Conditioners!
Why Deep Condition?
It’s simple. You need to replace the moisture in your hair, rebuild and repair your fro. Natural hair tends to be drier in the winter (which is why we love protective styling) and deep conditioning offers far more and longer lasting benefits than conditioning alone! Plus you need a deep conditioner that will make you go like this
These are my new fav 5 deep conditioners suitable for natural hair. Between these bad boys they repair, soften and rebuild your hair. Plus they have some amazing slip to help you detangle with ease!
Let me know if you will be trying these out! Check out my previous posts for more product recommendations if you have already picked these up and looking to try something new!
If you are struggling to stick to a natural hair routine or want some inspiration on how to get one going, see my Winter Natural Hair Routine to help you out.
Are you Protective Styling this season? See how to do it right in the Protective Styling & Winter Hair Care post. Protective styling is great but without proper care it can all go horribly wrong.
A girl can relax now, knowing that everyone’s natural hair will be soft as soft can be lol. I’m off to work on some more posts with some new and exciting products.
Hey guys! Welcome back. This post will be on the Cantu for natural hair product collection. It’s a very exciting range with lots of goodies and we are going to talk about them (even though I don’t own all of them lol) and where possible, I will include links on reviews or demos from YouTube so you don’t have to do all that work! Excited? Let’s get started!
So the full product range includes
Sulfate free cleansing cream shampoo
Complete conditioning co wash
Deep conditioning treatment masque
Coil calm detangler
Leave in conditioning cream
Creamy hair lotion
Coconut curling cream
Define and shine custard
Moisturising curl activator cream
Moisturising twist and lock gel
Coconut milk shine and hold mist
That’s a whole bunch of products! I like this because it has everything from shampoo to deep conditioners and styling options. I have 3 of them: the co-wash, leave in conditioner and the hair lotion. My fav is the creamy hair lotion. That stuff is the bomb.com and let me not start on the smell! So nice! It really softens the hair and leaves it moisturised! I love the leave in too. I use it as part of my L.O.C method after washing. For ultimate curl moisture, I use the leave in on soaking wet hair and seal with my shea butter mix, twist and let air dry. The next day I take it down and add a bit of creamy lotion and boom softness and moisture for daysss. The co wash I am torn on, maybe I need to use it more. I mean it cleansed my scalp but I didn’t notice anything amazing afterwards.
my cantu collection
The leave in cream for naturals is a bit different from the regular version, the one we all know and love. This one contains no mineral oil, parabens, sulfate etc. make the switch if you haven’t already!
Difference
So that’s it for my reviews on the products I own. I have searched wide and combed through thousands of footage for… lool, the hell am I on about? Here are some links I found useful on YouTube on the products. There is nothing worse than watching a video and realising it wasn’t what you were looking for. Please note most of these if not all are videos from the US. I’m not sure if we have all the products here in the UK because I couldn’t see some of the ones mentioned on the Cantu website where I got the product list.
Video links
Entire product range
Coconut curling cream
Moisturising curl activator and define and shine custard
Conditioner, mist and lotion
Twist and lock gel, treatment masque and coconut curling cream
That’s all folks! I hope someone found this useful. If you are transitioning and wondering what products are out there for naturals I hope this gives you an idea of some. I will be doing loads more of these so stay tuned! Here in the UK, you can purchase the full range online at BeautyByZara, link >> http://www.beautybyzara.com/cantu/
Some new and exciting products in the pipeline are
Extra hold edge stay gel
Comeback curl
Wave whip curling mousse
I think these or some have been released in the US already but definitely not in the UK at the moment otherwise if you spot it let me know. Also let me know of any videos you find useful and I will update the post accordingly.
They say all good things must come to an end. Yh it’s the end of my 3 month hairfinity challenge! I have been getting a lot of questions about the product and I will try my best to fit as much information into this post without it been very long. The question on everyone’s lips
DOES HAIRFINITY WORK?
Well let’s find out. You can check out my previous updates on it by clicking the links below:
Well for starters, I was a bit worried about coming off hairfinity and not retaining my length. So what I did was to prolong my last bottle for as long as possible, hence finishing this in February instead of January. Did I experience growth in this month? Check out my final measurements below
Let’s address the important points
Side effects?
One thing I was worried about is breaking out really bad whilst I was on hairfinity. I did drink 1litre of water daily to try and combat that. Results? Apart from my usual breakouts, I didn’t really experience anything major. I have friends who didn’t really change their water intake and were fine; no breakouts so I think side effects will vary from person to person. My advice? – check the ingredients and do your research
Hairfinity is expensive, is it really worth it? Does it live up to its hype?
My goal for starting hairfinity was to notice a difference in the LENGTH of my hair. HOWEVER I have noticed a lot of difference in the THICKNESS of my hair. I already knew my hair was thick so I didn’t think it could get any thicker( I really don’t know why I thought that lol) but that’s where I noticed a lot of difference. I did get some added length but as you can see its nothing to write home about.
But then again everyone is different so you may notice more length than thickness or vice versa or even nothing at all.
Shedding?
In my 1st and final months, I experienced less shedding than usual. In my 2nd month my hair shed a lot (and I remember not taking hairfinity religiously like in my 1st month maybe that’s why)
Anything else?
My hair is softer for sure. I did also start a no heat challenge whilst on hairfinity so maybe that helped. I used to blow dry my hair every time I washed it so it was really brittle and dry and probably heat damaged. My hair feels stronger and healthier now
I did blow dry (medium heat, 10% air dried) my hair today to really stretch it out so I could measure it but my hair is still soft and feels healthy. I am starting a new growth out challenge so I am going back to letting my hair air dry after I wash it.
Final thoughts.
Will I recommend hairfinity?
Hmm. Yes I would BUT I would say get a 3 month supply at least. I feel like you will benefit more from taking it over a longer period of time than to get a month’s supply. Obviously it’s quite expensive so I suggest you follow them on instagram where they regularly post discount counts etc. (budget-savvy girls holla!)
For the natural hair ladies wondering if it would work on your hair type/texture- YES.
So that’s it folks! My final length check and thoughts on hairfinity. As I said earlier, I am starting a new grow out challenge so I will be bring the details pretty soon.
Make sure you subscribe to keep updated with my new posts and if there is anything in particular you would like me to try out drop me an email (as long as it’s within reason lol)
Have a lovely day and please no one spoil 50 shades of grey for me
Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing great and is enjoying the month of February so far. This post will be an introduction to my new hair unit from RhoVirgin Hair Company and I will be talking about my Relaxed Yaki full lace unit!
Let’s get started!
So I really wanted something different and natural- something that was similar to my natural hair’s texture. Then she sent me this
A friend who also got the same texture sent me a couple of photos and gave me a brief review on it. I was really drawn to how natural it looked and the THICKNESS (gurlll, I aint playing!). I decided to get the full lace unit, 22inches. It did take a while to get to me than usual, but it was so worth the wait.
So you can see it has 4 combs in the front, 2 on the side and 1 in the middle (which I will be taking out. I don’t think anyone ever uses those). It also has one in the back and your standard adjustable straps. I wasn’t asked for a cap size but the uni does fit pretty snug on my head. (For the first week I wore it, I didn’t have to add an elastic band. I only did so in the 2nd week to keep the ‘ear tabs’ (lack of a better word) from lifting when I want to put the hair up.
The hair isn’t black, maybe it’s a colour 2 which I really like but I think I will be dying it pretty soon ( of course I will be showing this here). I am really impressed with how natural it is. The lace and the hair line look almost undetectable. And it’s a real plus to be able to part it anywhere. This is basically my dream length and thickness of my natural hair (LORD PLEASE!)
Nitty details
Shedding/tangling/matting?
So with this much hair I know some of you are wondering what the shedding, tangling and matting is like? Well for starters, I have experienced no tangling so far! This is really great. A few strands came out when I first washed it (nothing major) and when I comb it but nothing to phone home about lol. In terms of matting- very minimal and with hair this thick and long I would expect more.
If the hair is too thick for you, you can always straighten it and it will ‘calm down’ which is what I did the first time I wore it. I am going to try curling it later to see how well it holds a curl.
So far I have only co-washed it and deep conditioned it. I will keep you up dated on how it looks.
So far so good. It’s been 2 weeks and I am still loving it. I get looks all the time with some people looking to see if it’s my natural hair and girls double checking my hair line to see lace or whatever they are looking for lol. Here are some pics of it in action
That’s all from me folks. If you are interested in this unit or just want to have a look at what she offers, her details are as follows
I also have other hair extensions from her, check these out. This is my 1st full lace wig and I am loving it!
Hi guys, hope everyone is doing well so far and the year started good for you. If not, don’t worry it will pick up soon!
Anyway since I am on a mission to get to minimum bsl (bra strap length) by the end of this year (my hair is currently above my breasts when stretched out, still on my hairfinity challenge, final bottle to go) I have been doing a lot of research into alternative and cheaper hair growth aids (not every day spend £70 on hairfinity lol, sometimes £10 or less on other stuff lol). So this post will be about a few oils I have come across and hopefully will incorporate into my regime. I have tried some of them and the others i am yet to try.
If you have any more oils in mind just comment below and let me know how it worked for you.
Let’s get started
CASTOR OIL
. Castor oil- holy grail product for some women. Most women swear by it as it has helped them grow out thinning edges, increased hair thickness and helped with length retention. From Youtube research i am sold! There are numerous videos on application methods, castor oil mixes and recipes. I am yet to try castor oil for myself so of course I will be keeping you guys up to date when I start. Most popular ones I have seen is the Jamaican black castor oil (jbco) either from sunny isle or tropic isle living. But of course you can do your own research and choose for yourself. Whatever brands or type you choose make sure it’s cold pressed and processed (To do with the extracting process, this simply means its retained most of its nutrients during the manufacturing process) and 100% pure, virgin oil.
Castor oil is a humectant which means it has the ability to both attract moisture and retain it as well (great!). It is also rich in vitamin e, minerals and proteins. Its small molecular size allows it to easily penetrate the hair shaft.
Below are some really helpful videos on castor oil to help start your research process
Tip- try mixing castor oil, olive oil (grapeseed oil can work) and peppermint or eucalyptus or tea tree oil. Supposedly aids in growth and thickness. When applied to eyelashes and eyebrows it allegedly aids growth (note- allegedly)
Doo gro oil- my staple product whenever I have braids! I can personally vouch for this product. It is the product that helped me thicken my hair when I first went natural! Please note it comes in 3 different types, I have only used the mega growth oil. I recommend getting a minimum of two bottles to start with. It’s fairly cheap with £3.99 a bottle. Only con is it’s not drip free therefore tends drip down to your face if you use too much. It has a fairly pleasant smell and already comes in an applicator bottle making it easy to apply.
It also claims to tame frizz and add shine to your hair. It contains oat protein and extract, shea butter and botanical thickeners that promote thicker growing hair. It’s safe for children and all hair types.
Ultimate organics stimulating oils- I used both the coconut oil and the tea tree oil. I remember disliking the smell of the tea tree oil. I did not experience any growth with these products only thing was at least my scalp was moisturised. I can’t really comment on this as I havenot gone back to try them but do let me know of your experiences with them if you have tried it.
Obviously there are many more oils out there that claim to aid in hair growth. I chose these products because I have personally experienced some of them. In the near future I will probably update this post or post another as I experiment and use other oils in my hair growth process. One area I am doing more research in is essential oils in particular tea tree oil and peppermint oil.
Final advice to anyone on a hair growth journey BE PATIENT AND CONSISTENT! Hair growth can be a slow process (no matter what wonders the product says IT CAN DO it’s still not going to grow your hair over night!) be consistent, you will produce much better results. If you are a serial length checker, you will have your fair share of good and bad months- just don’t give up! Keep going and you will reap your results soon. My next post in the hair growth series- hair growth 102- supplements will be up soon!
Hey guys HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope this first week of 2015 is going great for everyone, exams, deadlines and all. Taking a quick break from revision and updating you guys on my fabulous Eurasian tight curl extensions from RhoVirgin hair, you can view my first impressions on it here >> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-pK
Let’s get started.
So I have been wearing this just close to a month or a bit over (I am not really sure). I will be addressing
Manageability( curly hair right), Hair care routines and Hair products used
Manageability
ZERO TANGLES, MINIMUM SHEDDING (bear in mind I did cut a lot of my wefts when I was making my unit). Guys, curly hair that does not tangle (need I say more?). I only experience shedding when I am co-washing the hair and with that it’s very minimal. The hair is very easy to manage on a daily basis- I just spray (using twisted sister 30 second curl spray- smell- amazeballs, £1 from savers) and go
Hair care routines and hair products
I make sure I co wash and deep condition every week to keep the curls defined. A side by side picture is shown below of the curls- freshly air-dried (lack of better wording) and after a week of wear. By the end of the week, most of the definition is lost and the hair gets a bit of volume (which I have no problem with). In terms of hair products, for co-washing- I use my co-wash mix (loads of conditioner, minimum shampoo and argan oil), then deep condition with either the smoothing hair treatment oil (by the way this stuff is the bomb.com, in the picture below with the extremely defined curls, I used one sachet on the hair for 10 mins. YES you’re welcome. £1each I think 3 for 2 in boots. You’re welcome again) or argan oil intensive hair mask (not shown but also £1 from savers). Both of this products work very well on the hair. I deep condition by saturating the hair and wrapping in a plastic bag ( I know everyone has a bag full of plastic bags in their kitchen somewhere, this will come in handy when you have about 3 units to wash anyway) and placing in hot water for about 10 to 30 mins (or more) for extra penetration ( no pun intended)
Moving on …
So whilst the hair is wet I spray it with the argan oil leave in conditioner. Short review can be viewed here>>>> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-nD or mixing a bit of the herbal essence wavy conditioner with water or using the mixed roots curl control leave in lotion which works very well. Then allow to hair dry.
And that’s pretty much it! I am still on my hairfinity grow out challenge, month 2 and 1 reviews can be seen here >>>> month 1>> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-qe month 2 >> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-qh . I am on my final bottle which is going ok. Thinking of carrying on or switching to another hair supplement. We will see. If you need the contact details of Rhovirgin hair check below and tell her I said hi (I’m Sarah btw).
That’s it folks and going back to revision. See you guys real soon, first impressions post coming up again.
Hey family! I hope everyone is well and doing good. Just briefly, I wanted to share my new hair extensions from RhoVirgin Hair Company. Check out my previous posts about them by clicking on these links. http://wp.me/p1uQOd-ok , http://wp.me/p1uQOd-hz
So this time around I wanted a different look, I normally get body wave extensions or loose waves but this time I decided to let my inner diva out( like it hasn’t been out all this while lol!) and I was on the hunt for something new. My inspiration came from Tokyostylez instagram page ( and ladies if you are a hair fanatic you NEED to follow this guy, his wigs are LAID. Period) I was browsing as I do and came across this beauty
LOVE
And I needed that texture in my life. I started to look around and again on instagram and on the RHOVIRGIN page she had posted this and I was sold!
not quite the same but similar
I got 3 bundles and a matching closure- 24. 20. 18 plus 14 (4×4) closure of the EURASIAN TIGHT CURL HAIR ( also a new texture I havenot had yet) also I have never used 3 bundles for my hair before so again, something new. I think the specs of her hair in the picture are 22.20.18 and a 16 closure. Either way I am in love with this hair and I havenot even installed it yet.
First impressions?
Well she has stepped her game up since the last time I purchased hair from her. Your package will now come with business cards and an instruction sheet on how to care for your tresses including recommended products.
straight from bag
The hair has a pleasant smell. Almost like new clothes you order online if that makes any sense. I know and have heard of people who got hair from other vendors and were not pleased with the smell. Quick tip- you can either co-wash and deep condition if you don’t like the smell or for really strong smells, I have heard some girls use (wait for it) fabric conditioner to wash it out! ( cant comment on its validity though). A nice smell is always welcomed and a good sign.
Bundles were true to length and were full from weft to tip. The hair naturally has some very beautiful brown/blonde highlights so my dark and lovely jet black box dye gon have to wait! LOL. The thickness of the bundles was also expected as in you get less hair on longer lengths and more hair on the shorter lengths. The knots on the closure were bleached and it came with baby hair. The ends of the hair were in ok condition, a bit frizzy but nothing a good deep conditioning session cant fix.
natural highlights
So as always I co-washed and deep conditioned the hair and allowed to air dry over night. This is a side-side picture of hair straight of the packet and freshly co-washed hair. Curls be popping girl! The ends are back to life!
top pic- freshly co-washed bottom- fresh out of packet
For co-washing, I used my co-wash mix I mixed up myself ( 900ml conditioner and I recommend conditioners for dry/frizzy hair in this case I was using tresemme salon silk conditioner for frizz prone hair or something of the sort, 50ml herbal essence shampoo with Moroccan argan oil and 50ml argan oil- for extra moisturising properties) I use this mix on my hair as well and my curls be popping like crazy lol! Obviously I do not use a 1000ml of product on my hair at one time, its just a mix I have in my bottle I use.
Afterward I just deep conditioned with macadamia nut extract deep conditioner( smell? Amazeballs!), put in a bag and let it sit in hot water for about 10 mins! Cold water to rinse the product out and air dry
I also sealed my wefts with fray stop glue (this stuff is a nightmare, I mean its hi-tack so its probably very good but it takes forever to dry! So it took about 4 days to seal all my wefts- front and back)
So now that my hair is ready, I just need to find time to install it. As always I will be doing 1 , 3 and 5 months updates then from there on as I feel like it. Really looking forward to what I can do with this hair.
Ps hairfinity challenge going strong. Cant wait for month 1 update on the 2nd of November. Stay tuned!
KENYA MOORE INSPIRED HAIR COLOUR AND RHOVIRGIN HAIR UPDATE
Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a stress free summer unlike me! Between this sudden heat, moving house and sorting out all the paper work that comes with that, updating my eBay store ( advance search by seller- slimtings1) http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/slimtings1/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1 , trying to start a wig making business and making plans for next year ( so excited!) , I am stressed out! But I found time to relax and do one of the things I am most passionate about- hair! I know am late on this hair colour band wagon (btw keeping up to date is stress in its self! I have a new brand hair review coming soon!) But I have been able to finally change my rho virgin Cambodian hair into this colour style, so this post will be an update to the hair and show and tell post! (Killing two birds with one stone!)
So I will start with the hair colour and dive into the update for my rho virgin tresses!
KENYA MOORE INSPIRED HAIR
This is the fabulous Kenya Moore from real housewives of Atlanta.
So the hair colour is pretty easy to achieve. It looks like a reverse ombre with the top part lighter and the bottom part darker right?
WHAT I DID
Simple. Use my trusted, tried and proven dark and lovely hair dye( in particular the 372 blonde colour). You can check it out on amazon >>> 2 boxes of that comes in at £5.98 ( £2.99 each, however depending on your location it could be £3.99). Divided my hair into two. Applied the dye per instructions and left it to process for about one hour. ( it says to leave it on between 30mins- 45mins but I had previously dyed the hair jet black so everyone knows jet black hair WITHOUT bleaching is the most difficult to lift!)
And boom! Hair colour greatness! (lol) I got this lovely golden brown/caramel/blonde colour (p.s I suck at description like literally) Tip which I think everyone knows- when choosing a hair colour between two shades, always pick the one that is a bit bright because 9 times out of 10 you won’t get the exact box match. So by picking a brighter one, your chances of lifting your hair especially darker hair are increased! ( I hope that makes sense)
RESULTS
RHOVIRGIN HAIR UPDATE
If you want a first impressions on the hair and her contact details >> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-hz . I have had this hair since January HOWEVER I have only worn it for 2 months in total ( on and off- but if I was to add up all the times I have had it installed then yes, 2 months)
WHY?
Well, I don’t know how I feel about this hair. For the amount of time I have had it and its performance I must say I am a bit disappointed. So in the pictures above you can see the hair freshly curled in the morning. Due to tangling especially in the back and matting, I put the hair in a braid by the afternoon to reduce that, because I could not run my fingers through it as you as see in this picture.
braid ignore my massive spot *covers face*
This picture I took at the end of the day and you can see the bottom half of the hair is tangled. I could not get a better picture due to lighting but the hair was matt too. It felt like it was bunching in the nape area.
at the end of the day
It holds some curl. I curled the hair with tresemme 2805U volume tong (32mm) the curl on the longer lengths just fell out as soon as I brushed them. The short lengths however managed to hold the curl.
I don’t know. This hair reminds me so much of my aliexpress hair (link >> http://wp.me/p1uQOd-hm) in terms of performance versus longevity.
Let me know if you have had this texture form the seller and any problems. Maybe I got a bad batch. (but I do know people who got a different texture hair and have the same problem)
Anyway guys I hope you have a blessed week! and a good hair week too! Until next time. bye
ORS formally known as olive oil organic root stimulator ( So no, I havenot made a mistake)
Another product that is no old news to the junkies so let’s get right to it!
TTP!
Claims?- superior hold and shine
Does it work?- more or less, depending on your technique.( Sarah are you trying to tell me there is a way of applying edge control? YES. So I have natural hair so my edges are curly. For this to work on my hair I CANT just apply and bounce NO. I have to either use it on top of Eco Styler Styling Gel Krystal Clear 900 gm (click the link to check it out on Amazon) OR apply water to dampen my hair first then use. TIP_ apply hair gel with a toothbrush( but I’m sure you knew that already. NO? thank me then LOL)
Proof? – Youtube reviews, and I’m on my second container.
Safe?- first ingredient is water
Bonus?- this is difficult. hmm Can last all day depending on weather conditions. If you leave the container open for a while, the product tends to harden. I found it a bit difficult to spread.
Price?- £2.99 more or less. dependent on location. Check out Paks, Ace etc
Here it is in the glorified ORS packaging. I was right. click on the picture to check it out on Amazon for only £1.97!
That’s all for now

Hey guys it’s been such a LONG time I updated my everyday inspiration series. (Forgive me, this thing called life huh? lol)Anyway its back and I have a new fabulous story to share with you. You find more about this series by checking out these links. http://wp.me/p1uQOd-4jhttp://wp.me/p1uQOd-9chttp://wp.me/p1uQOd-4F
This time we meet Esther, a 35 year old single mother of 3 ( God bless her!) living and working in Chicago. She shares her hair journey and her love to colour her hair ( and that one time she rocked yellow, orange hair! Fierceeeeee!!)
“I feel it’s a personal journey that people should take when they are ready for their own reasons.” – Esther
1.Tell me about yourself- where you were born, your name, age what do you do?
Hi I’m Esther . I’m 35 single mother of three. I work for the Good Ole USPS only job I’ve ever had. Lol. I’m born and raised in Chicago, IL. With any lucky this will be my last year living here.
2.Where there a lot women with natural hair from your hometown/ where you were born?
Growing up I only remember my grandmother with a Beautiful Afro, which she permed later on and lost most of her hair. My mom and aunts stayed permed up and rocking the latest styles.
3.Ok, with this in mind, did you find it any easier or more difficult to transition to natural hair?
Transitioning to natural at first was easy. I’ve never been into following fashion. I’m not big on hair Maintenance and I hated all the wasted hrs. at the hair salon. So the decision itself was very very easy.
4.Now the big one- why did you choose to transition? Can you remember the date? How long has it been?
I didn’t transition. I just went and got a bald fade. It’ll be 6yrs that I’ve been natural in October. Like a lot of women me cutting my hair was a drastic move. I had lost my husband, had to learn how to parent alone and I needed something different. Easy
5.Did you feel that making that decision was hard for you especially when most of the women around you had silky straight hair?
No. I’m a loner so what others people did never factored into my personal choices. Besides I’ve rocked yellow, orange hair.
6.Cool, now let’s talk hair products, hair routines- did you have to change any of your hair products?
I stopped washing and stick to co-washing. Yes I changed my products. I’m a big fan of Tresseme products and my hair likes creams better than anything else. So I had to find the ones that worked for me.
7.What products have helped you maintain your natural hair
8.Has there been a change in your hair routines? Like the number of times you wash your hair a week, how you protect your hair when you sleep? Protective styling? ( Weaves, braids, ponytails)
I wear a lot of wash and go’s when it’s short. When it’s longer I stick to ponytails and twist. I will get braids or professional twist when I get tired of managing it on my own. In summer I condition every couple of days because of the sun and I like to colour my hair. In the winter I keep it covered due to the cold and wind and usually keep it braided up.
9.A lot of women I have spoken to say they want to go natural but find there are hardly any products for them. Can you recommend good hair products and if possible where to get them?
All the products I listed above work. I grab them at Walmart, Target, Walgreens or any beauty supply. Like they says KISS( Keep It Simple Silly)
10.Would you advice any women to go natural? And why?
Would I No. I feel it’s a personal journey that people should take when they are ready for their own reasons. I will give tons of advice when asked.
11.And finally what the best piece of advice you would give to a woman who has just decided to go natural?
Best advice. The best products cost $6 or less. There is no such thing as Heat Training!
12.If you want to add anything else please feel free to do so.
Thanks for the questions!!
natural beautiesss
So there you have it guys, Esther’s story and I am so glad she agreed to share it with everyone. Ladies (and ermm gentlemen) in the UK and beyond, where there might not be a Target or Walgreens, you can try eBay/Amazon for international brands and in the UK maybe Paks or any beauty supply store. Her motto of KISS is really useful for me (and maybe a few others) because I know I try to over complicate things! And I am going to challenge myself of just buying products under the 6 pounds/euro mark. (Should be fun! Challenge accepted!)
Quick update- 7 months in SPAIN. It’s going amazingly good inspite of some very difficult times.
Until next time which may be very soon, have a good evening. Or afternoon. Or morning. Wherever you are!
