As you know, I LOVE BeautyPie skincare products! I have tried a few and I have lots of reviews of the products on my blog! After falling in love with the Japanfusion Cleanser so much I was really interested in the Jeju Daily cleanser because they are quite similar in terms of the multi-phase textures.

What the brand says
An absolutely marvellous multi-phase cleansing milk – with Jeju Cherry Blossom, soothing Bamboo Grass, Liquorice-Root Extract and Meadowfoam Seed Oil. It’s rich and milky, super-emollient, massages into an oil, breaks makeup down in microseconds and rinses-off like a dream, leaving your skin looking fresh and bright. (Buy a few, so you have backup.) Ultra gentle, for all skin types.
Experience
I have been using it as my first cleanse in my PM routine for just over month now. It’s a huge 190ml bottle and I still have some to last another 3 weeks. It comes in a pump bottle which I have not had any issues with
What I liked: this is a beautiful multi-phase cleanser. I’m not ashamed to say I use about 4 pumps all over my face and neck lol. I massage for about 4 to 5 mins and sometimes even longer (this is not necessary but I really enjoy using this time to watch something and massage my skin). This goes from ‘milk’ to an oil. This emulsifies with water quite easily and rinses away clean with very little residue. This cleanser breaks down SPF and makeup easily and mascara as well. I’ve been using the L’Oréal False Lash Fiber mascara which builds volume by adding fibres and this cleanser does an amazing job at removing all traces of it!
What I didn’t like: there are only 2 very minor details I have picked up but it’s really me just been picky. 1- it takes a bit of time for it to go for milk to oil. Not a long time but it’s not as ‘instant’ as the Japanfusion cleanser. 2. I don’t really want to call it a milk because I think of that as something quite watery and fluid and this isn’t. I don’t really know what to call it but yh lool
Verdict
This is a beautiful sequel to Japanfusion cleanser! Most sequels aren’t as great with a rubbish storyline (except for Lion King 2- that sequel was AMAZING, Mulan 2, on the other hand, wasn’t lol) but this Jeju cleanser stands really well on its own. It’s an amazing first cleanser which removes traces of makeup, mascara, dirt and oil. It doesn’t leave much residue on skin at all and it leaves the skin soft and hydrated. It has a pleasant scent.
I’m really happy with this cleanser and even happier it’s a much bigger size compared to JapanFusion which is only 100ml!
I will definitely repurchase and recommend
If I had to choose between this and the Japanfusion cleanser, I would choose the latter, only because Japanfusion is perfect in my eyes lol BUT if you want an alternative because it’s sold out (which happens a lot), you won’t be disappointed with the Jeju Cleanser!
Beauty Pie Jeju Daily Multi-Phase Purifying Cleansing Milk is £11.29 for members on BeautyPie. For non-members, it’s £28 and I honestly think it’s worth that price!
