If you take a look on the website there are so many excursions to choose from! if you have time I recommend you choose at least two to take part in but with us been short for time and a tight budget we decided to choose the 2 days 1 night excursion to the Zagora desert. Compared to all the other prices we spoke, this one was by far the cheapest and most value for money! So for the desert trip, the first day is pretty much the journey there, we left Marrakesh at 8.30am and we got to the desert at 5.00pm! Be prepared also for the long drive, but amazing views! We went past the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, Argan oil factories etc! Do make sure you have a fully charged phone for pictures or spare batteries for a camera because these views are not to be missed! You will get lots of breaks too! But do pace yourself on the intake of fluids because you could be waiting up to an hour and a half to get to a place with a bathroom. With that been said, relax and enjoy the journey to the desert , camel riding into the sunset and sunrise, campfire, food, the beautiful night sky and stars. Caution I think we went when it was winter in Morocco so the night in the desert was quite cold, so make sure to pack some warm clothing for the night! The tents were luxurious and lots of bedding was provided. Dinner and breakfast were provided too. The website to check out is http://www.marrakechairporttransfer.com/listingcategory/marrakech-desert-tours/

Camel riding is so exciting but after an hour or so my inner thighs began to hurt a bit and my bum! After sitting right either on the hump or in between! What I hated about the ride was when the camel was getting up and sitting back down whilst I was on! The most uncomfortable thing ever!( elephant riding is far better!) but I really enjoyed the desert trip! Waking up the next morning at sunrise with sand every where was amazing. I was brave enough to even take a picture next to a camel lol.!

I wish we had more time to visit more place and take more excursions but again life called us back to reality! So we of course had to come back to Marrakesh then back home to Spain.
